Sphagnum moss from Chile is a horticultural substrate ideal for the environment: product for sustainable development, the moss can save a tremendous amount of fertilizer and water.

Sphagnum of Chile grows 8cm per year: the harvest is done manually every 4 years respecting the habitat and individuals involved in its production.

During the harvest of the moss, we never disturb the turf allowing the moss to regenerate in optimal and homogeneous conditions, and we are committed to operate in an environmentally responsible manner.

Throughout its production line, the moss creates employment for many people who receive salaries above the average Chilean salary. The operation is done according to moral policies with principles borrowed from the fair trade.

The quality of the sphagnum fibre (length and thickness) undergoes a rigorous inspection before packaging and shipping to Europe.
